Reset license and other important data when copying PROD to SANDBOX
In the BC online version via SaaS, it often happens before and after a go-live that new SANDBOX environments are created by copying another SANDBOX or PROD environments. Also copying companies within the same environment often happens.
Basically everyone with access to the Partner Center/Admin Center can create a new environment or copy an existing one. And everyone with the right permissions can copy a company within the same environment.
At the moment when you copy an environment or company, the licenses from the Simova extensions are copied too. For some extensions also other data (like the document central repository URL or running job queue entries) are copied 1-to-1.
The product idea is that all the license (and other relevant setup) data are deleted when copying an environment or company within an existing environment.

Michael Pardulla AdminHi Nelles, your basic suggestion has already been implemented and applied to all Simova products. The license is now properly removed when creating a new environment. As a result, the product is no longer active because it is not licensed. However, the cleanup of the products in this regard has not yet been carried out. When an environment is copied, all configurations are copied as well. From our point of view, this is currently a practical solution.

Michael
